Frequently asked questions

Can I really get paid to care for my child?

Yes. Eligible Halo Heroes receive a weekly payment for providing approved Structured Family Caregiving services to their Young Hero.

Do I need to be a certified nurse or aide?

No. Many parents and family members qualify. We provide orientation along with CPR and First Aid certification.

What does my child need to qualify?

Your child must be enrolled in Indiana Medicaid and the Health & Wellness Waiver, and be between ages 3 and 21.

Can I switch from my current provider?

Yes. You can transfer to Kidmosphere without losing your benefits. We handle the paperwork and guide you through it.

Is the Halo Allstars membership really free?

Yes. Every Kidmosphere family receives a free Halo Allstars membership for their Young Hero.
